Characteristics of FireLite

• It's thermal expansion coefficient is almost 'zero'.
• Transparent fire rated glass without wire mesh through centre.
• It is suitable for fire rated walls, windows, doors and other openings that require up to 3 hour fire rating.
• It is able to withstand a fast temperature rise due to fire hazard while remaining transparent and maintaining normal visibility.
• FireLite does not sag or bend when subjected to a 3 hour fire test.
• FireLite can easily be cut to size using a normal hand held oil fed glass cutter.
• FireLite when heated to 800^o C will not crack due to the impact shock of cold water hosing.
• FireLite is chemically resistant to unusual atmospheric conditions
